Thanks to the slow cooker, you can have warm, cinnamon maple steel cut oats (gluten-free of course!) ready and waiting for you in the morning!
Serves: 4
  • 1 cup certified gluten-free steel cut oats
  • 2 ½ cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • ⅓ cup real maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon gluten-free vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond milk, water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Line your slow cooker with a liner, or place an oven-safe casserole dish inside of the slow cooker, filling the slow cooker with water just until it’s an inch below the top rim of the casserole dish. Place the steel cut oats into the slow cooker or casserole dish. Gently pour the wet ingredients over the top of the oats.
  3. Cover the slow cooker, and cook on low for 8 hours.
