Total time
Serves: 8
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice*
  • 2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • ½ teaspoon coarse, fresh ground black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the pumpkin pie spice, pure maple syrup, and pumpkin puree. Add in the almonds, tossing to coat thoroughly.
  3. Turn the almonds out onto the baking sheet, spreading them out into a thin layer. Sprinkle the fresh cracked black pepper evenly over top of the almonds.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and give the almonds a quick stir, and then spread back out to an even layer and allow to cool completely.
  5. Enjoy!
* Pumpkin Pie Spice can usually be found in the spice section at your regular grocery store, but you can also easily make a blend at home. Here is my favorite!
